I LIKE THE CROSS

By Túpac Atámo

The Cross

Ya know, I know how fucked up the Christian Cross's history is. But I still like the cross.

To me, it looks like an upside down wooden sword. An extension of Power.

A symbol of the strength of uniting two very strong, and very different, forces.

Like a Lingam made of Wood.

I don’t think of death when I see a cross.

I think of Bill, my new friend who made a cross by hand and is very excited to share his faith, and his Savior, because it’s helped him so much. I don’t want Jesus; because I want to walk the same walk he and Mary did…. ✊🏽 🫶🏽 🎶 .. .. .. .. .. . . X . . . . and Isis and Osiris; and Horus and Hathor; Eros and Psyche; Krishna and Rada; Quetzalcoatl and Xochiquetzal, Inti and Mama Killa, Pachamama and Wiraqocha, Shiva and Shakti……, and ground Light & Holy Spirit deep into every nanometer of my body.
